A big factor that has kept me from getting more into the blogging thing is pressure to perform. Turning a pleasant stroll into a brisk power walk, so to speak, I have never wanted to have to worry about putting this thing on a schedule. When it’s my job, sure, I can push myself to make deadlines, but when writing for myself I want to be able to follow my inspiration.

Which means I will write as often as I want. I may post every couple days, once a week, or even once a year. I love you all for reading but life gets busy. I have 4 kids, one of whom is less than a year old. I have a husband who I try to spend time with every day. Until recently I worked a part-time retail job. Lately I have been trying to spin up some momentum as a writer and that involves writing stuff for other people. Some nights I don’t get much sleep and am pretty useless the next day.

I feel emboldened by some good results in my life and motivated by the shortness of time. However this space is me and, left to my own devices, I am not a person who cranks things out like clockwork.

So I’m not going to say I’ll post every week, or whatever. I have one stewing right now, and I want to get it up soon. The other thing that slows me down is that sometimes, it just takes me a while to process things and put my thoughts together.

Thanks for reading, feel free to ask me anything and I will work harder to keep this thing alive.
